We are collecting for the St. Vincent de Paul local food appeal. We would be grateful for any non-perishable food items, eg. pasta, rice, cereal, tins (vegetables, fruit, tuna), biscuits etc. which will help to make up hampers for the local area. These can be left in the school foyer before Wednesday 13th December.
On December 1st, Cliffoney N.S along with several other feeder schools for Grange Post Primary participated in a Dodgeball competition in Grange. It was a great competition and it was enjoyed by the boys and girls.
The boys and girls football teams from Cliffoney N.S. participated in the group stages of this competition on Monday 22nd May. Well done to the boys who are through to the semi-finals!
Well done to boys and girls who represented the school in the Sligo GAAmigos. Congratulations to the boys won their section. It’s not the first time that Cliffoney N.S. have tasted success in this competition as the the girls were winners two years ago.

The girls have a go at playing the euphonium which is a brass musical instrument with a low tone.
The annual Cumann na mBunscol Table Quiz will take place in the Teeling Centre, Collooney on Tuesday 28th February at 7:00pm. This quiz is aimed at the senior pupils in the school.
We were delighted to have Henry Wymbs a past pupil of Cliffoney N.S. visit us on 25th January. He talked about his life and the book that he wrote. The boys and girls were very interested in what he had to say. Below is a picture of Henry with his nephew and nieces:
