Our Junior and Senior Infants were delighted to meet Meccano today. Made by Eva and Roan with help from Dad, it took hard work and concentration and almost one month to make Meccano. The talking, dancing, joking robot was very popular among our pupils. Well done Eva and Roan, a fantastic achievement!

We enjoyed a visit from Garda Pat Gallagher this week. We learned about the Garda uniform and utility belt, and asked lots of questions about Garda Pat’s job. We even got to try on a real Garda hat!

We had an arty day today. Second class made cotton wool sheep to decorate the church for their first confessions on Thursday. We all made crepe paper cherry blossoms. Aren’t they pretty?
First and second class have been learning about length and fractions. Here they are working hard.
Garda Pat Gallagher visited the school to tell us all about his job. He even let us inspect his handcuffs and baton. Some of us would like to be guards when we grow up.
