We were very busy coming up to Christmas. We made lots of crafts for the Christmas Craft Fair such as clay decorations, angels and cribs. Our play ‘Born in a Barn’ was a great success and everybody enjoyed themselves. We also made paper plate reindeer and snowman pictures.

This month, we set up a clothes shop in our classroom. We had great fun shopping and trying on new clothes and accessories. We designed beautiful outfits and even made our own bracelets. The highlight of the month was the fashion show we put on for the other classes and Acorn Montessori.
We always enjoy Pancake Tuesday at Cliffoney N.S. and this year was no different. The children weighed and measured out all the ingredients and had great fun practicing their egg-cracking and mixing skills! The delicious pancakes went down a treat!

Well done to boys and girls who represented the school in the Sligo GAAmigos. Congratulations to the boys won their section. It’s not the first time that Cliffoney N.S. have tasted success in this competition as the the girls were winners two years ago.
